You have heard it somewhere, or at least that I hope you have as pontoon boats are considered the platform to party on when it comes to parties on the water. That is right they are perfect for such an occasion, I mean sure there are better options that are out there, but the problem with that is the word everyone would want more of …. money. This is why I would look into used pontoon boats at first compared to newer ones as you can save a great amount of money if you are shopping for them right.
For the middleclass person a pontoon boat may be in there financial grasps depending on many factors, such as getting a good loan from a respectable boat dealer, along with a bunch of other reasons. But now why would you want to go pontoon boats to have a party on the water? Well yachts are a lot more expensive, in most cases not for the middle class person that wants to have a great time on the water.
See pontoon boats are the cheapest boat when it comes to the amount of square footage that is on the boat – and in my opinion that is why they are as popular as they are these days. I mean if you have the money to go big than by all means go big and get a yacht – customize it if you want too. The thing is more than 99 percent of Americans cannnot afford to do that unless they are digging a debt ditch that they know that they will never be able to pay back.
Why would you want a pontoon though if you are financially screwed like most of us are in the first place? First off you have to get your priorities straight first and this is because of a couple of reasons. When it comes to square footage, you usually pay for more when it comes to houses, apartments, renting or leasing a property or etc. When it comes to pontoon boats though they have the best square footage margin by price than any other type of boats. True facts. It is not uncommon to find someone selling a 25 foot pontoon boat for only a couple of thousand dollars. If you had a 25 foot pontoon boat you could fit more than 10 people on the boat, easily and comfortably, no questions asked.
But why are pontoon boats so darn cool? Besides they provide the space for family get togethers, planning fishing trips with your buddies, plus a lot more stacked on that when it comes to pontoon boats. For one they are great to fish from, as long as you are not planning on going out in the ocean with one, or anywhere else that the current may get nasty.
If you are on a lake fishing for bass and have a pontoon boat, then yes they are great to be out on a lake with, just as if you wanted to fish inland around mangroves, such as around beaches and inlets, then a pontoon boat would be perfect for you – just imagine all of the room you will have for all of you fishing gear.
